Ventilation & Roof
Our stable roofs are designed to give maximum head clearance
and to achieve optimum ventilation. Various finishes
can be fitted to complement surrounding buildings and
local authority approval.
For low pitched roofs, onduline sheeting or heavy duty
mineral felt tiles can be supplied in a variety of colours.
For higher pitched roofs conventional tiles or slate
is very effective. Pressure treated timber fascia boards
can be fitted with either p.v.c. or cast iron guttering.
A minimum of 1.2m self supporting overhang is formed
at the front and is lined with a variety of finishes
such as plywood, TGV, or composite boarding
An important aspect of horse welfare is to create a
fresh healthy atmosphere. This is achieved by cross ventilating
the building with continuous soffit and ridge vents allowing
the warm air to rise and create a flow of fresh air.
